Cage the Elephant has been one of my favorite bands throughout my teenage years. I was going to see them in Milan in March, but COVID-19 had the concert cancelled. I know that I have been wanting to see them live for the longest time, but I’m sure I will get the chance again. Troubled times like now can make it hard to look forward to things. But if we didn’t experience hardship, we wouldn’t know how amazing the good times are and we wouldn’t appreciate them as much.
Listen to some older music that you loved listening to when you were younger. A playlist that reminds you of some happy memories, or your favorite artist growing up.
Trouble brings back memories from high school and listening to it now feels rewarding since I have come so far since then. Remind yourself that! You have come so far and are stronger than you think.

About The Curator - Caylyn Downey
My name is Caylyn, I play piano, guitar, I love to sing and I care about helping people through hard times and embracing good times. Music can be such an inspirational tool because it connects you with others and it spreads awareness. As a curator, I find songs that have had a positive influence on me and I write about them. I hope this playlist can help you live in the moment, never give up, and teach you to love yourself. I want others to know that they are not alone on their journey, without the bad there can’t be no good. It takes patience and practice to live in the moment. You will get through whatever it is you are going through. If you are having a rough day take a listen and maybe your fears will float away.
