You know when you discover a new artist and immediately know you're going to have a long lustrous love affair with their music? This happened to me recently with Matrick Jones aka Matthew Bilić and friends. Once again my aussie roots grow deeper into my musical garden as this funky fellow hails from Sydney, Australia. Here in the warm shadows I would like to introduce Matrick Jones, a beam of golden musical light. He is dancing around your kitchen while you make coffee and joins you in quirky moves to his groovy tunes. Happy times take place. Your day is ripe with positive energy. All because one aussie guy decided to create rad tunes as a way to express and connect with the world. Or maybe he just simply enjoys making a good tune. Who really knows.
Regardless, this prospect lead me to reflect on the artist and myself. What surfaced from this reflection was the unwavering connection that is felt through music. Our connection is the key to it all. You have found yourself on the walls of this page because you are drawn towards this connection. So here we are. We all inspire each others creativity and collectively create a shared love of our musical world. A universal space of creatives exploring this connection released through music. Whether it be sharing your new jam to your lover or sharing it with your doggo, the connection is where the good stuff happens.
