There is something eternally satisfying about the sounds of nature on a track that I fall in love with instantly. It may be from growing up on an island with an abundance of natures songs versus the more common surroundings of overstimulated commotions found amongst bustling cities. Both have a place in our lives but our connection to one far outweighs the other. The disconnect from Mother Nature is so disturbingly abundant in our modern day lives that we have actually forgotten what she sounds like.
This may seem like a peculiar takeaway from this track by Saib, but time and time again these are the sounds that bring me back to my roots. And if we dig deep enough these sounds are strongly rooted in all of us, regardless of where we grew up and the places we choose to inhabit from thereon. This song feels as if it has grown from the very core of these roots. Saib has a fecund imagination as he blends together genres from all corners of the universe. A truly groovy mind filled with jazz infused beats to spicy latin instrumentals and beyond. The creativity spilling from his kind of mind feels endless, flowing into the names of the songs to the art work to the music itself. Sit still for this one and allow yourself to sip on the versatile tea blends of the minds of artists like Saib.

About The Curator - Maria Fish
You can most often find Maria in her garden humming along to an eclectic playlist titled “Life’s a Garden, Dig It” and of course tending to her beloved plants. This garden is located on the island of Kaua’i at her childhood home surrounded by tropical fruit trees and flowers. Beautiful music has always gone hand in hand with the beauty of the island. Just as she nurtures her plants, she looks forward to nurturing this playlist and the community of music lovers that feel like stopping by and having a listen.
