Something a bit different here. When I said I’d give you 2 tracks this week, I might have told a white lie. But if it involves more music then who’s complaining! Instead I offer you an album *nods knowingly as the audience offer a big OOOOH*.
I don’t know how Alice Phoebe Lou has slipped me by up until this point, but she has, and I won’t lie, I’m high-key unhappy about it. I absof******loutely love her. Maybe I’m in love… who knows… but it feels like it could be love… so it must be, right?!
Glow is a masterpiece in my humble opinion, and I don’t think I really want to try and tell you about the music, because it simply has to be heard. In Alice’s words, “this album is an outlet. A place I blew off steam. I poured my most personal feelings, experiences & realisations into it and I stand before you completely naked, encouraging you to go to that place within yourself”.
A particular fave would be ‘Dusk’ but I really implore you to listen to the whole thing. You won’t regret it.
