Prior to our wedding, my husband and I got tango lessons from a friend, in the hope that in a week we would dazzle our wedding guests on the deck of the rabelo boat sailing down the River Douro, in Portugal, during a “three-hour tour.”
The three-hour tour part should have been an indication, but we were so certain that we could learn, at the very least, 5-minutes of tango moves in a few days that our wedding outfits reflected our confidence: black and white pinstripes with a touch of red.
Our first dance together, our first public tango: total fail! However, the fun and laughter: priceless.
EnTANGOed is a predominantly tango-inspired playlist, but with a few modern rock, Latin steps and caricias in the mix.
