This track is awesome because it talks about the oppressive Turkish government in a very cryptic way. It criticizes the leaders and the government in general. Also the song's name is "Nargile (hookah)" which suggests that the artist stayed loyal to her Eastern origin while experimenting with it.
The song starts with sheep sounds, this is one of the reasons why it's psychedelic and peculiar, and continues with Eastern melodies and strong rhythms. One of the highlights of the song is the lyric "You have made your mansion and worshipped its plaster." This is a reference to the government leaders who only care about filling their pockets by telling lies. The lyrics continue with "You burgled the country and put it beside you." This lyric is also a reference to the leaders who steal from their citizens. It also resembles a Turkish tongue twister in a way it is said.
Either with the lyrics or the music, this song is one of the main representers of the "New Wave Turkish Psychedelia”.
