Ediz Hafızoğlu is an all-around drummer from İstanbul/Turkey. He has played with various artists from Turkey and all around the world. Lately, he focuses more on jazz. Lin Records labeled Nazdrave (the album) is formed by the songs that he wrote for the musicians he has worked with, naturally the album combines many genres.
In Nazdrave there are sounds of Ceylan Ertem, Elif Çağlar, Yasemin Mori, Kolektif İstanbul, KFKO, Alp Ersönmez Cereyanlı, Yansımalar, Cem Tuncer. “If you want to witness a drummer’s musical journey, there you go Nazdrave!”
In the jazzy song Kül, Ediz Hafızoğlu and his band collaborate with Birsen Tezer. Birsen Tezer is a jazz singer with a velvety voice, hypnotizing her crowd all the time. In the song, the drums are soft, the brass instruments are a compliment to the relaxing voice of Birsen Tezer.

About the curator - Ada Bayramoglu
Ada is a high schooler from İstanbul who cannot be seen without her headphones. She is a “support your local” kind of girl who knows all the best places to drink coffee in her hometown. Her subconscious is full of “Turkish Classical Music”, which she has been listening to since she was born. She likes everlasting conversations with her friends about music and art. If you don’t know where she is just look at the nearest concert hall and she’ll be there.
