Can Kazaz is a singer/ songwriter from Turkey. He released three albums, two EPs and a single. He performed in many important festivals all around Turkey. The important thing about him is that he knows how to blend deep emotions with great music. His genre can be described as Turkish folk, avant-garde or indie. He uses mostly acoustic elements in his songs, especially acoustic guitar. The melodies are delicate but powerful.
His music reminds me of warm cabins, snow and fireplaces. If I wanted to associate his music with a drink, it would be mulled wine. Warm and sweet. Can Kazaz deals with strong emotions with simple melodies. Maybe it is that quality that makes his music original. I had the chance of watching him live. He was warm, funny and sweet. The audience loved him.

Her subconscious is full of “Turkish Classical Music”, which she has been listening to since she was born. She likes everlasting conversations with her friends about music and art. If you don’t know where she is just look at the nearest concert hall and she’ll be there.
