This week's track was seasoned and cooked at home. I am the worst critic of my work, always slapping my own little mistakes on my face and telling myself how bad my mix was, how out of tune the guitar part was, and how boring my tracks are. Finally, I made a track that I was not able to get so picky with. I had to eat my criticism and pride and tell myself, "It's a cool track, keep it up".
Memory Shards means so many things for me. It makes me feel a complex mix of happiness, sadness, emptiness, and hope. The piano chords and guitar licks slowly build up the track as my mind flies remembering so many things I have forgotten about myself but then everything starts to get tenser until it naturally unfolds into peace. Let's enjoy this moment inside time and space together.
