This week we have "Pretty Pimpin" from the incomparable "Kurt Vile" former guitarist for "The War on Drugs".
I first heard this a few years back ,out on the road, and just loved the Indie/roots flavour it has going on, but it was actually the lyric that got me and reminded me of "Paul Kelly's" "Look so Fine but Feel so Low" so don't be fooled by it's catchy facade.
It's crazy you know.... The perception we have of ourselves, and it's so easy for outsiders to look in and have no idea you've hit a low, regardless of having a beautiful partner, family, successful business and health etc...
I was fortunate enough to kick the black dog of depression, but no matter the positives in your life, they can be impossible to see whilst the dark clouds blow into town.
