YBN Cordae returns with his first single of 2019 with the S1 produced “Locationships”. Cordae who hails from Prince George’s County, MD is coming off a strong 2018 where he garnered respect from fans, critics, and his musical peers alike. Although displaying a small sample size of music in 2018, Cordae received a call from the legendary Dr. Dre to come cook up with him after being introduced to each other through Dre’s protégé, Anderson Paak.
Locationships has Cordae telling tales of his dealings with various women giving the feel of the 2019 version of Jay-Z’s classic “Girls, Girls, Girls”, which he admits is the inspiration when asked on twitter. Cordae’s knack for storytelling sets him apart from not only his peers within his crew, but over the majority of hip hop artists within his generation. His bars are clever, thought provoking, but relatable enough to be accepted from generations old and young.
On Locationships Cordae raps, I got this one chick from the Bay who always bump Mac Dre, I give her constant dick, her consciousness won't go that way, I tell her every day, "Lady, you'll be havin' my baby", She say, "Yee! Lil' nigga, man, you hella crazy".
Cordae has yet to title or set a release date for his upcoming project, but be on the lookout for the next big thing in hip hop.
