Another post rock entry this week, from Warsaw this time. "Radionoize" is one of my favorite tracks off Tides From Nebula's 2019 album From Voodoo To Zen. I recently got turned on to these guys and this record has been in heavy rotation since.
Tides is an instrumental post rock band that employs synth into their ambient and heavy textures. This particular track is lighter on the keys than some others and allows them to stretch out with their more guitar forward composition and chops. As usual the bass really stands out for me and lays a tasty and hypnotic groove for the interplay with guitars and some keys. At six and a half minutes there's plenty to sink your teeth into and leaves one wanting to hear what else they fellas can do.

About The Curator - Danny Gordon
Danny's love affair with music started around the time he could walk. He spent countless hours in front of the record player going through his parents collection and experimented with playing violin, piano, and guitar before finding his voice on the bass in his teens.
Danny began playing in local bands in Los Angeles while studying music, eventually landing at Berklee College of Music in 1998. Following his graduation in 2001 Danny returned home and continued his career as a recording and touring bassist, most notably working with former STP singer Scott Weiland.
Danny continues to stay active in the local scene and is a devoted father teaching his children about the music he loves.
