It's been a hell of a week, there's been a lot going on. One constant is me always listening to and exploring music. I've been listening to Pinback's "Blue Screen Life" a ton the last month or so. I really dig this band and how they craft their music.
I dig this whole record and it's not so easy to pick one song that represents it. This is one of those albums that for me is all connected and more like one big piece rather than just a bunch of random songs slapped together. So, let's start at the beginning with the first track, "Offline P.K."
The band melds every instrument and vocal together with precision and both power and delicacy with their unique sound and counterpoint. I dare you not to finish to whole album after hearing this track.

About The Curator - Danny Gordon
Danny's love affair with music started around the time he could walk. He spent countless hours in front of the record player going through his parents collection and experimented with playing violin, piano, and guitar before finding his voice on the bass in his teens.
Danny began playing in local bands in Los Angeles while studying music, eventually landing at Berklee College of Music in 1998. Following his graduation in 2001 Danny returned home and continued his career as a recording and touring bassist, most notably working with former STP singer Scott Weiland.
Danny continues to stay active in the local scene and is a devoted father teaching his children about the music he loves.
