I just got turned on to this Taiwanese avant-garde jazz trio and haven't been able to turn them off. Using drums, bass, guitar/keys they cover a lot of ground and incorporate many different musical styles and textures that develop their sound including jazz, rock, funk/r&b, and shoegaze.
Finger is the first track off of their 2018 release Balance. The song opens with bassist KT's tapping groove and chimney guitar arpeggios and moves into both melodic and bombastic territories along the way. Each player is highly skilled and they have great chemistry together. Near the end of the song KT sings over another intense tapping part with ease. This is a great intro into their repertoire and I bet you'll be hooked like me.

About The Curator - Danny Gordon
Danny's love affair with music started around the time he could walk. He spent countless hours in front of the record player going through his parents collection and experimented with playing violin, piano, and guitar before finding his voice on the bass in his teens.
Danny began playing in local bands in Los Angeles while studying music, eventually landing at Berklee College of Music in 1998. Following his graduation in 2001 Danny returned home and continued his career as a recording and touring bassist, most notably working with former STP singer Scott Weiland.
Danny continues to stay active in the local scene and is a devoted father teaching his children about the music he loves.
