Being from Florida It wouldn’t be right If I didn’t give you a taste of that FLA sound. And one of the only ways to start it off and make sure you understand where that sound comes from is to give you some Miami.

Anyone from Miami, Florida or just Florida it self knows you cant talk aboutthat sound without mentioning Trick Daddy. This record has that “Juke” sound, which is native to Florida. I recommend anyone wanting to know more about “Juke” to Google “Juke Dance” and watch the overwhelming number of videos out there. This record set a tone for many like it to come and Trick Daddy brought along a few friends on it like Trina, Duece Poppi, & more. If you want to know what that sound is for what we call the bottom, This record is the starting place.

About the Curator: Adrian “Science”  Robinson

Adrian “Science”  Robinson is a producer, audio engineer, & artist manager who has a love for music that stems from a family long history of singing and dancing.  He attended the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, Florida for music & video production, and later worked very close with one of Florida’s major independent record labels.  He has lots of fond memories old and new that seems to tie in with many songs, and loves to share them with others. After working with multiple recording studios, independent labels, & internet radio stations, he moved on to publishing music for independent artist in the independent music community.

I grew up listening to music from the late 60’s onwards. Pirate pop radio; swapping LP’s with friends; exploring genres; daydreaming over the latest woofer and tweeter. In reality I spent thirty years imparting imperfect knowledge of English literature and drama to young minds in school. Regrets? No. I loved teaching; loved the interaction with the pupils, and made lifelong friends as a result. And what better way to keep up to date with music?
