I suspect that some of you are not going to dig this track - which is fine - you can't please all of the people all of the time and a playlist like this is set up so you can skip ahead if something doesn't match your mood. Me however - I love this stuff! ;-p
I was originally introduced to the world of drone / trance etc by Brian over at Silber Records - apparently there's a whole world of people making and appreciating what some people may call noise but like everything - once you get under the hood, it becomes fascinating.
I tend to fall on the more melodic aspect of drone - and find it perfect for screen working. The whole idea of falling into a trance - of being shut off from the outside world 'cos you're so focused on where your head is at - is exactly why I'm building this list.
Coming in just shy of 13 minutes it's a great track to have on repeat - you get more familiar with the progression and those fabulous lush guitar tones. It's like being wrapped in an auditory cocoon, one that keeps you safe - keeps the outside world out and creates an environment where your fingers can fly on the keyboard...

About the Curator: Richard Parsons
The first visual memory I have is that of the white upright piano in Singapore, Hell and the dark forces lived at the bottom, Heaven and the Angels at the top. They would play battles through my fingers and I was hooked.
Although I've always played, I haven't always been a musician. Most of my twenties were spent working with people, buying and selling and learning how the world works. It was in my thirties that I came to America and focused on music and began to develop music2work2.
