OK so normally when my kids come to visit me and my son tend to wander off to my desk and start to compare music and artist we like that are not signed to majors or not that well heard of like some of the others but still great artist. On our latest visit me and my son sat around listening to artist on YouTube and SoundCloud. He pointed out a couple artist that him and his sister listen to quite often and I'm really digging what these guys are doing.
This record "Big Homie" is from two artist both from Texas. I have to say these guys really give you a taste of that Texas flavor but they don't quite sound like a lot of the other new artist that are dominating the charts right now. I think this new generation of hip-hop gets a lot of hate when most of them in their own way are delivering what I'm sure will be classics of their age group. I can clearly see that when I play this track and my kids run in the room dancing and know every lyric. So I hope everyone can enjoy this as much as me and my kids do.
