MGMT always seems to find me when no other music seems to. Of course they are best known for their freshman album Oracular Spectacular, but it is not commonly known that their upbeat psychedelic pop transferred into Congratulations, its just a little harder to find. Someone’s Missing is a perfect two and a half minute clip of the bands entire sound - spacey synths, uncanny lyrics, danceable chorus’, and a seemingly unearthed potential.
This song will have to wondering exactly what you are listing to between the wind sfx and sitar, but those who can make it until the will be hard pressed to remain seated. The excitement slowly builds, and when the huge guitar strums come in, you cant help but wait and listen, and trust me, it’s worth the wait.
