BROCKHAMPTON is back, baby! After almost a solid year since we got IRIDESCENCE, the boys from San Marcos, Texas have returned with a hot new single, ”I BEEN BORN AGAIN”. Within seconds, you notice that the group has not seemed to have missed a beat. “I BEEN BORN AGAIN” has a very familiar production and flow you can expect from BROCKHAMPTON. We get classic versus from every member of the group; and in typical BH fashion, there are voice distortions as well as catchy, repetitive lines and spacey sound effects. 

I’m very excited to share this new BROCKHAMPTON track, because it’s a simple track for people who may not have heard of the group before. Almost like how the track title suggests, I feel like every time this group releases something new, it’s just a fresh start for fans and newcomers to this massive rap cult. I feel as though the boys played it safe with this single- so that perhaps anyone who haven’t heard of them can catch interest and check out the rest of their discography.

About the Curator - Briyanna Wilson

Briyanna Wilson is a quality analysis technician who works very long hours throughout the week. Even with working long hours, she actually has the opportunity to listen to tons of music; this is how she became so obsessed with discovering hundreds of new artists throughout the years.

Growing up on music from the eras the 70’, 80’s and beyond - Briyanna has always had a wide range of musical preferences. It was only until very recently that hunting for what’s special and new in the evolving music industry has caught her attention. It is now a huge obsession for Briyanna to look into any and all new music that releases-and plopping every song she likes into the very many playlists she creates on a regular basis.

While Living in Austin, Texas (the live music capital of the world) Briyanna spends a lot of time going to all the live shows she can take advantage of. This inspired her to want to meet more local artists and catapult herself in to their worlds of music and musical experiences. Briyanna finds great joy in immersing herself in new corners of music and sounds she never thought she’d be interested in. Her vast knowledge and acceptance of different styles and genres in music only continues to grow as time goes on, and living in Austin makes it that much more beneficial to Briyanna to do that.

With all of these elements at work, Briyanna never stops exploring the wonderful world that is being a music enthusiast; and has been insanely inspired to curate various playlists. She also has started a music blog that she updates with relevant content for her readers that you can check out here
