If you have been a Kanye fan from the beginning, and still love him despite him now, you are cool in my book. Kanye has some of the coldest songs in history. I love this song because I feel like he is speaking his truth while relating to others, which is what all rappers try to do I guess but not all succeed. The beat is crazy, he snapped on this.
I am in that stage in my life where I am finding what makes me happy... what's "good" or "bad" for me. And that's all across the board, from relationships, friendships, jobs, vices, etc. That "you make me smile" ad-lib is my favorite, because while Kanye is talking about all these addictions, and being intoxicated with someone, he knows what he is doing is bad but it makes him smile. I can relate Kanye, I can relate...
