This week Lemon Jelly bring us Space Walk, featuring Astronaut Ed White describing his experiences during his space walk in 1965.  I love that line “I’m letting go”.  On first hearing it, it struck me how easy he made it sound.  

It must have been years of work, planning and considering every possible scenario, then the moment arrives and just like that, he lets go.  The first portion of the track reads like a poem.

Choosing to let go from safety, a known environment to see what else is out there, floating in space, seeing your whole world from a different perspective, and loving it. Wow.  

The hatch is coming open. Okay. It's open.

How am I doing?

I'm beginning to see a uh, point of light on the horizon.
