1) Who is Big inf
Big inf is from the Bronx, New York, upon hearing his first rap record, it was love at first listen. At a time when hip hop was still young, fresh and new he began DJ'ing. Initially Inf began blending his father’s soul records with hip hop instrumentals purchased from the local record stores that his pocket change had become so familiar with. Now, amongst a neighborhood following and growing demand, his freestyle mixes suddenly became valued. Spinning heads as well as records, before he knew it, Inf found himself hosting block parties, school dances, talent shows and as he proclaims “wherever there were people and music…so was I.”
2) Who & What Inspires Big inf
Music & Life inspires me to go into a recording booth and record a certain way..depending on how I'm feeling at that moment.
3) Any Artist Dead or alive you would have loved to Collaborate with?
Yes certainly Jimi Hendrix....its something about that sound from the 60's that just puts me in a zone. But currently I would love to work with Andre 3000. That dude is so beyond this world when it comes to music...also Jay Electronica is another one I would love to work with.
4) What are your plans for the future as pertains to your music?
To just be on everyones radar. I want the Big inf brand to be as common as Coca-Cola or BMW. CONSISTENCY is truly the keys to success
5) What got you involved in music in the first place?
My Father was a DJ, may he rest in peace, he used to play records all night literally till the AM. so in a way I was kinda forced into becoming a DJ / Curator just by witnessing and listening to all these great sounds from the 60's, 70's & 80's
6) How do you feel about the internet in the music biz?
I love it!!!. with one upload your music will travel the world in a matter of seconds. My new album titled "NEW INDUSTRY" explains all that. you should go stream it!
7) Are you signed to a major label?
No I'm not signed. Im doing everything on my own.
8) Where can your fans find you on online?
