Tidal Volume’s song “Get Back Up” screams “fearless”. The message of staying true to who you are, is clear in this rockin' track. It was inspired by the band members who are part of the LGBTQ community. Tidal Volume member, Zach Sullentrup, stated “we wrote this song to remind people it’s going to be ok, and if it’s not, we can still have each other’s backs”. It’s hard not to be motivated with these lyrics:
“You put me in the ring with no chance to win,
Go blow for blow until you break skin,
But you won’t erase me”
Standing up for your beliefs and your true self means that there will be people trying to knock you down. One should do as the song title says and get back up.
